'I just wanted to sleep': Pregnant Mother Comes Home After 12hr Shift, Stay at Home Dad Can’t Fulfill Her Simple Request to Keep Kids Quiet

You know how the saying goes, it takes two to tango… and in this case, only one person was doing the work. A mother we'll call OP, was working 12-hour shifts, while her husband, a stay-at-home dad, watching the kids. When she came home one morning after a particularly grueling shift, she was having trouble with the kids, who were incredibly loud. Hours went by, and her husband wasn't up yet. For reference, by now it was almost 10 a.m.… she had gotten the kids breakfast etc, as he slept.

In addition to her normal exhaustion, she was also 14 weeks pregnant. That fact didn't seem to move him one iota, as he obviously didn't care enough to get up and help her. Not only that but he was also sleep-deprived… from playing video games all night. To make matters worse, when she calmly texted him calmly to ask him to help out, he flipped on her.
